All of our Tiny Monsters will be performing in the End of Year Concert! Each week in class, they practice their routines, continue to build on their skills while having lots of fun. Through these rehearsals, the dancers learn about working together, listening carefully, and feeling proud to perform on stage for their families and friends.
If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make a note of this.

This year, we will be holding a Tiny Monsters Rehearsal Day at the studio. This special day gives our little dancers the chance to practice their routines in their costumes, just like they will on concert day.
It’s also a wonderful opportunity for the children to:
- Meet the supervisors, student helpers, and characters who will be with them on the big day
- Feel comfortable and excited about performing
We will have two - three time slots during the morning that will mimic the concert day schedule. Detailed times for each group will be shared with you soon, so you know exactly when your dancer needs to arrive.
Students will receive their Commemorative T-shirts handed out to parents when dancers are dropped off for this rehearsal (see more info regarding the commemorative T-Shirts below)
CONCERT TSHIRT
All students receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of their weekly class package. You can pre-select the size you wish to receive by filling out the form below. This form needs to be filled out by MONDAY 28TH JULY - anyone who has not preselected their shirt size by this date will have their t-shirt assigned based on their age.

For the best fit, we recommend sizing up so your dancer can enjoy wearing the shirt for years to come. Monsters will do our best to accommodate size swaps where possible, but please keep in mind that availability may be limited.
CONCERT MEMORABILIA
VIDEOS
We organise the services of a Professional Videographer. All parents will receive a digital download of their dancers show included as a part of your weekly class package. All parents will be emailed with a unique log in which will enable you to view and download the concert videos at home.
If you have recently changed emails, please drop us an email at [email protected] to ensure we have an up to date email address for you and you don’t miss out.
Concert videos will be emailed out early January.
ON STAGE PHOTOS
We organise the services of a Professional Photographer who will be taking on stage photos of all shows. Please be aware that they are “live on stage” images and there is no way to guarantee that photos will be taken of each individual child. All digital images will be provided to parents in early January.
COSTUMES
All costumes will be provided by Monsters Of Dance.
Your child will have the chance to try on their costume before the concert to make sure everything fits comfortably.
Please note:
- Costumes will stay at the studio and remain in the care of Monsters Of Dance staff.
- Our team will bring all costumes to the Concert Rehearsal and the Concert event, so you won’t need to take them home or bring them along.

All students are required to wear the correct footwear for each dance style they do
Lil Movers wear their BARE FEET OR SHOES - provided by Monsters (arrive in sneakers clearly labelled)
Lil Ballet + Jazz dancers wear their BARE FEET OR SHOES - provided by Monsters (arrive in sneakers clearly labelled)
Lil Acrobats & Ninjas wear BARE FEET (arrive in sneakers clearly labelled)
Lil Hip Hop wear WHITE SNEAKERS - NOT provided by Monsters
Lil Tap wear BLACK TAP SHOES - NOT provided by Monsters
If your Tiny Monster does two or more styles, our Monsters staff will change over your dancers socks/shoes

A CONCERT OVERVIEW FOR ANY NEW PARENTS
1. Tiny Monsters are dropped and marked off at the marshalling area by their teacher, supervisors and allocated character. The marshalling area is made obvious with signs at the venue.
2. Parents and families head to the auditorium while we go backstage with Tiny Monsters.
3. Each class performs their routine one after another on stage. While backstage, Tiny Monsters are entertained by their Character and supervisor with games and books. They also love watching the concert on the live stream telly.
4. At the end of the concert, each Tiny Monster walks the red carpet on stage with their Medal that they received.
5. We meet you back at the marshalling area to return your little one to you. Please try to fight the urge to call your little one over to you until they have been properly marked off. This is for all of our Tiny Monsters safety and must be taken seriously - thank you!
EMERGENCY NAPPIES/PULL UPS/UNDIES/SHORTS ETC
Though unlikely to happen, we will have all supplies necessary for anyone who doesn't make it to the toilet backstage.
PLEASE DON'T PACK ANYTHING FOR BACKSTAGE
As this is a really short concert we kindly ask that you send your dancer with little to no extra items including drink bottles. We will have water and stuffed toys for comfort backstage; however if either of these items will help your little one feel comfortable coming backstage with us, please make sure they are labelled and we will do our very best to look after them. While we will do our very best, Monsters does not take responsibility for any of these extra items.
DON'T BE AFRAID!
If you have not yet experienced the wonder of a Tiny Monsters Concert, we understand that it may be hard to wrap your head around a concert full of 2-5 year olds!
But we want to assure you that 1) it works! and 2) it is one of the most magical and rewarding days of the year for all involved!
We can count on one hand the amount of times a dancer has not danced on stage and all of those little ones found their special moment at some point - usually on the red carpet with their teacher and medal. We as a team are trained well for this day and take each moment seriously while keeping it calm and fun for you and the kids! If you have any apprehensions about attending this concert please call us with all of your questions and concerns!
