PARTICIPATION

All of our TRIBE dancers (except acro) will be part of our exciting End of Year Concert! Each week in class, they’ve been practicing their routines, improving their skills, and most importantly, having fun along the way. These rehearsals help the dancers develop teamwork, focus, and the confidence to perform proudly on stage in front of their families and friends.

If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make a note of this.

COSTUME HIRE FEE & PERFORMER FEE

COSTUME HIRE FEE - Costumes! Tribe Dancers hire costumes for $42 each routine. This is debited from your portal in two lots of $21 over term 3 and 4 and we remind you of this. These costume payments are non-refundable.

Important Update to Costume Hire Fee Dates

We wanted to let you know that we have updated the costume hire fee payment dates for our End of Year Concert. Originally, payments were scheduled for April 29th (Term 2) and July 22nd (Term 3). The new dates will now be:

August 5th – Term 3
October 28th – Term 4

We’ve made this adjustment for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we feel splitting the payments later in the year will hopefully help ease the financial load for families by spacing them out more. Secondly, these new dates are better aligned with our internal planning and ordering timelines for costumes.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to make this process as smooth and manageable as possible for everyone.

PERFORMER FEE - This year our $75 Performer Fee will be debited from your portal in two lots of $37.50 over Term 3 & 4 and we will remind you of this. This Fee is non-refundable. This Fee will be debited on:

September 2nd – Term 3
November 25th – Term 4

TICKET FAQ's

My child is in 2 concerts because of how Monster's has split the groups up, what do I do?

Monsters will be in contact before tickets go on sale.

I have children/siblings in different concerts, what do I do?

Please purchase tickets for both concerts like normal.

I want to bring my kids, who both dance at Monsters to watch each other in their different concerts, What do I do?

For example if you would like your MINI dancer to watch your JUNIOR dancer performing in a different concert please purchase them a ticket to watch their sibling dance in the correct concert. All our seats are ticketed and need to be purchased through the booking links.

I have two siblings in the same concert, do I need to buy them tickets to watch their sibling?

If you have 2+ siblings in the same concert - you do not need to buy either of them a ticket for that concert. Where possible, kids will be able to watch the concert they are in from a supervised performing student area.

WHAT HAPPENS BACKSTAGE AT OUR CONCERTS

A CONCERT OVERVIEW FOR ANY NEW PARENTS
1. Dancers are dropped and marked off at the marshalling area by their teacher & supervisor. The marshalling area is made obvious with signs at the venue.
2. Dancers head backstage to rehearse for their concert. Parents are welcome to hang around the venue or head off until the doors open for Concert Time!
3. Each class performs their routine one after another on stage. While backstage, Dancers are busy getting ready & hanging out with with their helpers & supervisors. They also love watching the concert on the live stream telly.
4. At the end of the concert, each Dancer walks the red carpet on stage with their Medal that they received.
5. We meet you back at the marshalling area to return your Dancer to you. Please try to fight the urge to call them over to you until they have been properly marked off. This is for all of our dancers safety and must be taken seriously - thank you!

WHAT TO PACK & BRING

For our End Of Year Rehearsal & Concert day we suggest dancers packing a snack, some lunch & a water bottle (clearly labelled) as we will have a break between their rehearsal and their actual concert performance. Dancers will stay with their group & supervisors throughout the break in-between the rehearsal & concert performance.

BAND APP

If you aren't already, please make sure you are on Band App. Teachers will be posting class updates and videos of routines along with the music for your dancer to practice in the lead up to Mid-Year. Reach out if you need any assistance with joining your dancers classes on Band.
